impossibly cute

Michelle had to work the late shift at work.  I got off at 4 that day, and volunteered to pick Marissa up from daycare.  The building has 4 windows in her room.  They are all low level windows so the short people can see outside.  The entry is in the front of the building so if you want inside you must walk by the windows.  Marissa saw me right away.  She pressed her little face up to the glass and started screaming papa.  I couldn't wait to grab her.  To get in a person must punch in their parent code, and check out their kids using a computer.  I remembered my password today and when I opened the door to Marissa's room she was right there waiting for me.  She looked up and screamed "papa".  I couldn't be more proud.  I picked her up, got her coat and report card and headed out.  A little girl who was maybe 3 or 4 looked up and said "Your daughter is sooo pretty".  I didn't know what to say except thanks and so are you.  The 3 year old girl said "I lover her hair , she looks just like *** in the cartoon ****".  I can't remember the cartoon she said or the character.  I'd love my daughter just as much if she wasn't the cutest little human on the planet but the fact is I don't have to wonder about it because she is and she knows it.

We went out for food tonight.  We was my Marissa, my wife and myself.  We went to Ming's House for some chinese food.  It started off a little bumpy.  Marissa wouldn't eat any crab rangoon.  She'd say 'hot' and just nibble at it.  Once it cooled down she ate almost an entire piece.  The pieces are giant and are about the size of my wallet.  Michelle ordered a plate of crab rangoon and a seafood dinner.  We sat in a corner of the restaurant.  The restaurant was pretty small and was 3 times smaller than the smallest burger king i'd ever been in.  There were glass windows all around and my baby could see her reflection which she loved.  Towards the end of the meal she was standing up while eating white rice and opening her mouth.  She was looking at the rice reflection in her mouth.  What a little stinker.

Michelle kept saying how Marissa needed a bath.  We got home and she stripped Marissa down to her birthday suit.  She just got done eating some old craisins that were on her changing table and I was a little worried about that.  She was acting really cute being free of her clothes.  She was tapping her little feet on the hardwood floor and being a fun loving little kid.

Tomorrow we're visiting a new doctor who is going to put tubes in her ears.

daughter super collider

With the mass of 14,000 paper clips this giant ball of energy is hurling a hamper around the living room.  There is an innocent dolly on board!  She was making a little engine noise.  vruuum vruuum  I taught her that.  Last night I put her in a hamper and pushed her around making the vruuum vruuuuuum noise.  She loves the excitement and I got a little worried for her later in life.  I hope she grows out of this dangerous stage.
